Flash Firmware

I have the POD Xt and am having trouble updating its Flash Memory.  When i go to download and install it, it says that my "current flash firmware doesnt support updates through USB."  How do I correct this problem?  Any Thoughts?

    Check if you have firmware v1.01. If so you need to do the initial update via MIDI (yes it's that old). Once updated all future flashes can be done via USB.

    +1 to Mr_Arkadin

     

    Flash memory version 1.xx will need to be updated via MIDI interface.  All other updates and connections after that can be done via USB.
