Power supply confusion 2

Can't edit the first post so here. thanks

I checked the line 6 power supply faq that there's an alternative to a  [9VAC 1200mA minimum] power supply.

it said
"PX-2 AC: (Stomp modelers, All PODs, XT, and X3 series, XPS, Micro Spider): Output: 9v AC, 2000mA. The center pin diameter is 2.5mm.
*
Line 6 power supplies are available at you local dealer or at our Online Store.
*
Note: The Stomp Box Modelers will also work under DC (Direct Current) at 12V, 500 mA minimum. The center pin is positive (yes, center pin is positive as opposed to the DC-1 power supply)."

but then i checked the flatliner site and it said

"The Line 6 modelling pedals can be powered through the 9VDC (MM4, FM4) or 12VDC (DM4,DL4) outputs. Since these effects draw more current (150-185 mA) than average you can connect one effect with one output. The FLATLINER can power several Line 6 effects simultanously. Note: Line 6 modelling effects have reversed polarity. Use the right cable."

9VDC and 12VDC?

help? what does it really run in? I really should be believing the line 6 site, but i asked the line 6 dealers here and they said that i can't use a 12vdc adapter. can i please have a confirmation that it really CAN run on 12vdc 500mA? I'm using a DL4 and an MM4.

Plus, does it have to be regulated?

and if ever its allowed, i was wondering if i could use a 1000mA 12vdc adapter to chain a dl4 and an mm4.

sorry if im asking too much. I hope you guys answer this

thanks

Lester

    Hello,

This FAQ should answer your question:

Power Supply and Amp Power F.A.Q.

Please let us know if you need further assistance, or close out the ticket as “answered” if your situation has been resolved.

        Hi,

I have the same problem. Can not power  up my DL-4 in combi with a Flatliner PRO. How have you solved this now?

Line6 obviously does not want us to use a Flatliner - but hey it's a free world aint it?

Re: RE: Power supply confusion 2

I absolutely read your question, but it sounds like you missed something in the   FAQ.  Here is the except from the FAQ that contains the information you are looking for:

PX-2 AC: (Stomp modelers, All PODs, XT, and X3 series, XPS, Micro Spider): Output: 9v AC, 2000mA. The center pin diameter is 2.5mm.

Note: The Stomp Box Modelers will also work under DC (Direct Current) at 12V, 500 mA minimum. The center pin is positive (yes, center pin is positive as opposed to the DC-1 power supply).

Q: I want to power more than one Line 6 unit from the same power supply.  How can I achieve this?

A: The  can Voodolab Pedal Power II Plus can power up to 6 Tonecore pedals and two Modeling pedals at once, and the Voodoo Lab Pedal power AC can power up to four Modeling pedals.  Other power supplies may not deliver consistent voltage and are not supported by Line 6.

Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus

    Voodoo Lab Pedal power AC
