Mixing down to a wave file

Everytime I try to mix down my song to a wave file I get a SD card write error. It won't transfer .JAM files either. I bought a new SD 2 gig card and formated it in my JM4 and still I can't write to it. I set the security tab so it is suppose to be writable. I even reset all the factory defaults and tried again to no avail...What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
A user once had the same question as you, but I'm not sure if you're experiencing the same scenario. The answer to his scenario was to save his recordings with shorter file names on his amp itself. Then, when using the "Save Rec Mix As Wav To Card" option, he was able to write to his 2GB SD card.
This might or might not be the answer for you, but it's a suggestion based on a similar scenario I've encountered. Let us know if this works for you.

Thanks for your reply... I did finally get the JM4 Looper to write a .wav file to the SD card. I just kept trying the format and then finally it just started working and it has been great. What I find produces better results is recording in stereo direct from the JM4 outputs to my BOSS 1150 digital recorder. The stereo file sounds so much better then the mixed down mono loop.
Thanks to everyone who replied.
James
