Im trying to use my POD XT pro as an audio interface for the simple fact that my laptop doesn't have the correct outputs to run my monitors. Im running the the XT as the windows primary sound card and the monitors from the XLR outputs of the POD. This is fine when playing anything through the jack input of the POD but anything from the computer via the USB doesn't work. For instance itunes. If im listening to a song i get no audio output, but if i open the line 6 audio and midi devices menu, the pod seems to spring to life and start playing the audio. I could just leave this menu open whilst listening but as soon as a track has finished, i have to close the menu and re-open it to activate the sound card again. This poroblem isn't just with itunes, but every audio program i use. Has anyone else had this problem?
