I've seen lots of posts on this but can't really tell if it's been fixed or answered?

I can't launch Line 6 Edit in Windows 7.  I get the following errors.  Is there any update from Line 6, any work-arounds?

BTW, can a product be considered "legacy" if you're still selling it?
