I found this baby at a pawn shop (my fave hunting grounds!) for one thousand dollars with case! It was extremely dirty and I had to literally dip it into a vat of hand sanitizer! Seriously, I took it apart and washed the pickups and ALL the plastic parts and bridge/tail piece! It's a 2003 Classic with the dark brown back, just like I always wanted! It has 24 frets and a slim 60's neck and it plays like a dream!! ![]()
Nothing like Gibson on your headstock!

WOW!!! Another nice find man. I've always wanted one of those. How's it play and sound? I recently picked up a 70's RI Squire Strat for the country band I'm playing in. Just a quick fix until I can figure out my sound and what not. Well I'm not digging the way it plays or sounds. I took my ESP Explorer to practice last night! LOL!!
Dude, I love it! I've had like five Gibson Les Pauls over the years and this is the first double cut and it rocks! I just put an Earvana nut and am ordering some Duncans for it, a JB4 on the bridge and a Jazz for the neck.

Wow! That's a cool one...Congrats!!!
I am curious, is the neck actually "set in" instead of the typical Les Paul glue on...Never seen it 24 fret and it sure looks like it might be "set in"...Either way it's a very cool axe! ![]()
Thanks bro, yeah it's set-in. It's actually built just like a PRS 24 Custom. I'll take some pics of the back and post them. It's a slim 60's neck and it is fast!! ![]()
