Rivera designed early 1980s (1983?) solid state amps. CBS Fender, Fullerton CA. The Studio Lead is a touch larger than the Yale, with the same circuitry for channel 2. Same speaker, same FX loop. The cabinet on the Studio Lead is nicer and heavier, but not by much, and the two of these together still weigh less than a Tweed Blues Deluxe or any tube 2x12...

The Yale has a plug for footswitch to turn reverb on/off ; the Studio has plug for footswitch to change channels and toggle reverb. Toggle switch on front of the amp is broken, leaving it stuck in channel 2 at the moment. I have no footswitch, it's one of those specific old ones

The Studio has a TWO prong plug which has me worried, and planning a visit to a local amp tech.

QUESTION!!! What's the deal with the two prong power cord? The achived info from Fender actually references turning the plug around in the wall socket to alter any humm or noise. My thought, was amp tech pay to have that replaced with 3 prong grounded, and the channel selector switch replaced. / repaired.
