Backup / Restore on Pod X3L with Monkey

So just got my equipment back from the shop and it sounds funny.
Luckily I saved a backup onto my computer before taking it in:
POD X3 Live-2009-Mar-05.x3m
Now opening Monkey with my Pod plugged in via USB and I don't have a backup / restore button anymore. Where did it go? How do I restore the tones using this file?
I have Monkey v1.27.0

The "monkey" window has three tabs on top (just under the red stripe with the login information). On the third tab, you can transfer tones and bundles.
I think Marc is saying that the tab isn't there at all. I've seen this posted before, and it happened to me about a year ago. Of course, I don't remember the details. Maybe it's something odd and simple such as making sure the USB is plugged in and the X3L ON before starting Monkey (as opposed to starting Monkey and then saying Oops, I forgot to turn on the POD). I'm not at home so I can't test anything at the moment.
Well here is what I just tried minutes later after posting this message and it worked
...just in case anyone else has this problem:
1. Open Monkey without Pod plugged into computer.
2. Select Pod from list of optional devices
3. Plug in Pod to computer
4. Select "Connect to device" on left
5. Backup / Restore button appears on right

Ha! Exactly the opposite of my guess. It would be nice to know the recipe for making the tab disappear.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
