HD300/400 version of Nick's HD500 Setlist

I'm using this forum to upload an HD400 bundle file because the POD HD forum doesn't accept file attachments (why is that??) and also because CustomTone doesn't seem to support uploading bundle files (why is that??).
This bundle uses banks 1-16 for the 16x4 tones that Nick Mattocks created for the HD500. It has 4 different tones for each of the 16 HD amps, ranging from clean to ear-splitting (at least as clean or ear-splitting as the individual amps get). The bundle retains the original factory presets in banks 17-32.
The bundle files should load properly into an HD300 too because I think all of the FX are available in the 300 - but I can't prove that because I don't have a 300.
Apologies in advance if I've made any errors. It involved manual editing based on what I could see running HD500 Edit in offline mode, and loading up Nick's original setlist. Fortunately Nick was very systematic in what he did making the editing in HD400 Edit quite straightforward.
Thanks for the inspiration, Nick.
I am new to the line 6 pods. Will This file work for the HD 300 also? I read somewhere that the 400 files will not work on the HD 300 which is the unit I have.
Yes it will work. I'm not sure where you read that it wont, but that's incorrect. Pod HD300 and HD400 tone and bundle files are fully compatible except that the HD400 has some additional FX options. I'm not sure exactly what the HD300 Edit program does with that but it will load the tones, presumably making reasonable alternate settings.
Thanks! Just got them uploaded! This is a huge help for me!
Glad you find them helpful. Enjoy!
Just curious --- is Nick's original bundle for the HD500 available somewhere? You reference it in this thread as you must have had it to transpose to the HD400. I've downloaded a number of patches that Nick has posted to CustomTone, and they are really very good. Grabbing a whole bundle at once to sift through (vs. one at a time) seems easier.
Yeah - it's here: http://line6.com/community/thread/46526 It's only one set list though (64 patches) and not a whole bundle (512 patches). This set list is really just an organised set of the amps with minor adjustments to the Drive and Channel Volume settings to go from a relatively clean patch through drity and crunch to a slighly boosted solo patch. There's 16 amps and 4 patches for each amp. I just put a few commonly used FX all in the OFF position in with each patch to add a bit of additional flavour if needed. I really didn't spend any time wahtsoever tweaking the basic default amp sounds except for the Drive and Channel Volume settings. I hope it's of some use to you.
Nick
