POD HD 500

I'm about to buy my first Line 6 product ever - the POD HD 500.

Is it possible to connect powered studio monitors (like M-Audio CX8) directly to the POD HD 500?

Yes, and you have a range of options - 1/4" unbalanced outs (stereo L and R), balanced XLR (stereo L and R), or even the Headphone out which is a stereo 1/4" jack. That's how I have mine connected to a pair of Rokit 6s and I'm loving the sound so far.
