Expression of interest for left hand JTV Variax models

According to a reply on twitter, Line 6 will only release left hand Variax's if there is enough interest in the Line 6 Community. So come on Southpaws, get on here and express yourselves. Would you buy one? What model? What Colours? Should they vary to the right hand models?
I will buy a JTV 69 when it's released, in black. I so desperately want a tremolo!
Here's another south paw who would go for a JTV. It would be a Koerean model, as I couldn't justify the expense of the real deal. I like the blue model, but any colour would do.
I love my leftie Variax 500, but I like the idea of the JTV modelling/conventional pickup combination. I like using an ebow and you don't quite get the same response out of a Variax 500 due to lack of pickups, compared to my Squier Strat (which I am only keeping for Ebox duties).
I'm also so reliant on the 500 that I either need to get another one as a backup, or have the 500 as a backup and go for leftie JTV if available.
Thirded!!
I'd like a lefty JTV 59, probably in a tobacco burst. I wish it had a tremolo though. I read a comment on the Variax facebook page which suggested that they might do a tremolo version of the '59 eventually.
if there was a lefthanded 69 or 59 available i would order right away colour is not that important .
please let there be another southpaw model .
i nearly played my 500 to pieces.
regards k-thomas
I'd really prefer a 69 if they're only going to have one lefty version - it's obvious (to me at least) it's the most versatile. Otherwise I'd settle for any of them. I suspect the colors would be limited in any event, just as they were with the Variax 500 series. I'd take what I can get. My 500 has performed beautifully now for over 3 years and is intergral to my band's sonic pallette. It's well worth keeping as an eventual backup. It WILL eventually be a backup, right Rich Renkin?
I'd never sell my Leftie 500, the question is do, I find another as a backup, or do I dream about a new Leftie JTV? ![]()
I would be interested, but as a rule I don't buy a guitar that doesn't have a wang bar and so I would hope that this would be at least an option.

Definitely a JTV-69. I modded my lefty 500 to have a vibrato. I don't believe Line 6 will deliver for left handed players. They never made a 1st gen Variax with vibrato. They never made a Variax bass. Hope Line 6 proves me wrong but I doubt they will. I'm considering getting the cheapest JTV possible for a conversion...
I'm very interested in how you modded the 500 for a trem bar. I'd love to be proven wrong but I too am doubtful Line6 will address leftys in the Tyler version. Love my 500 - just wish I had a trem bar, so would you mind sharing how this was done?
Yes, I'd like to know how you put that on a 500.
I'm still in hope of there being a leftie tyler, but will believe it when I see it.
On behalf of a friend, I also encourage the development of a left hand model.
I told him all about the JTV guitar and how cool it was, and he was very interested and considered buying until the question came up "Do they make a left-handed version?"
ditto for me...I would buy one.

WOOT!
Great news Rich, but I think (hope) there was a typo in your message. You must have meant not JTV '59, but '69,'69,'69...............
