How do I route input1 and 2 to seperate line outputs?

Hey
I am selecting input 1 guitar only; input 2 aux only. I am trying to use the mixer to pan these input one to the left line output and input 2 to the right line output. Is this possible. I want these to go to seperate amp channels.
Sorry if this has been covered, I don't seem to have luck trying to search the forums.
Thanks
Yes I think that's possible..
Are you saying you tried it but it didn't work?
Yes. No matter how I adjust the mixer both R and L line outputs are seeing what seems to be a summed signal. I can adjust the volume of each input but panning left does not take the signal out of the right ouput and vice versa.

To clarify, I'm talking about the 1/4" OUT
Yes - definitely possible. Panning is the answer along with two distinctly separate signal paths. Remember the XLR outs are always panned left and right but if you use only one of the 1/4" outs then it will be summed to mono - you have to use both 1/4" outs for stereo or to separate the signal paths. Also ensure any effects you use on both signal paths are true stereo - some aren't and will sum the signal
Post your patch here and I'll take a look if you wish ![]()

OK. I see a few possible problems then. I don't have both outs plugged in, just switching back and forth with the phone plug; and I have some mono effects in the chain.
Thanks, I'll try again.
