Snow Leopard Toneport_ux2 drivers itunes ipod conflict

I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard and found that it had quarantined my old Toneport ux2 drivers. Now that I have downloaded the latest version from your site I find that itunes (latest version) will not recognise my ipod when plugged in.  Is there a way to fix this or do I have to choose between toneport or itunes?
