Best way to hook up external effects pedal to Pod X3 Live

Can somebody please tell me the best way to hook up an external effects pedal to the Pod X3 Live. I picked up a Pigtronix Philosopher King and wanted to take it for a test drive with the Pod X3 Live.

Hello,

I'd suggest you run your guitar into the input of your Pigtronix and then come out of that pedal into the guitar in on the POD.

Since that pedal is a compressor/distortion pedal, I'd avoid using it in the POD's FX Loop as it may be a bit noisy.
