How to adjust bridge height on JTV-89

This info isn't in the manual, so can anyone tell me how to adjust the bridge height of this guitar with the included wrenches? The set screws on top of the bridge don't turn, and I don't want to force them. It seems as though I need to first loosen the two tiny screws on the bottom of the bridge. The problem is that, while the smallest wrench fits in one of these screws, it turns freely in the other, as if the head is stripped. I've adjusted the bridge on many other electric guitars, including a fancy Ibanez Prestige with a ZR2 bridge, so I'm not a complete novice at this, but I don't want to proceed with this until I'm 100% sure I'm doing the right thing and that I don't have a stripped screw in my bridge.
I believe Rich has been in touch with you already about this (along with other questions you had).

Indeed he has. Thanks for all your help, Perry!
I'm having the same problem with the bridge of the jtv-59.
please can somebody explain how to adjust the bridge
thanx harry
I think it would be worthwhile for the info to be posted for those of us who have not yet received our guitars yet, just so we are ready to adjust the bridge when they do arrive. Can someone post the procedure?
Thanks.
Ahh so I'm not the only one with a JTV-89 with what seems to be a stripped bridge screw. I think both my bridge screws are stripped in fact, as none of the wreches I got with the guitar seem to fit (plus the holes look wonky - I can't tell what they are). Luckily I can still play the guitar but stripped bridge screws are a deal breaker of course.
If I can get replacement screws I will probably keep the guitar. If not, I don't know that I can justify ordering another one of these (sadly).
Hmmm...Is this some kind of secret or what ??
I'm having the same problem on mine.....so.....How in the heck do you adjust the friggin bridge ?
Just a simple answer will do
