Bass Pod XT Live

I can't get my mac to download sounds onto my Bass POD XT Live. When I run Line 6 Monkey it 'sees' the POD and says all software is up to date but when I run Line 6 Edit it comes up with Bass PODxt Live and a big yellow question mark. I choose this and click OK but nothing happens.
I've tried everything including MIDI, choosing a different product (ie Bass POD xt) which gets me to the editor but wont let me connect to the POD. Don't understand, ready to sell it on!
Please help me...
Matt
PS: I'm using USB (tried different leads) but if I try to 'Add' using Midi, only xt and xt pro are on the drop down list, not xt Live...?!
Hey thecardinalhaze,
Make sure that you have your Bass POD XT Live connected directly to your computers USB port, not an extension, hub, or keyboard of any kind.
Please Uninstall your current drivers using the Line 6 Driver uninstaller program located within your Line 6 folder located in the applications folder on your hard drive.
Once you have successfully uninstalled the current 5.7.0 drivers, please go to the line 6 downloads page to and download the 5.1.2 drivers:
Once you have successfully installed the drivers, launch Line 6 Monkey to verify they are installed correctly. Update your USB firmware or Flash memory if necessary as well.
Retry to launch Edit.
I hope this helps, please let us know if you are still having problems.
you don't say... but if your mac is older and has a PPC processor... you will need to get this older driver 4.6.9

anything newer does not have PPC support.
