Flextone III XL without internal speakers

Hello,
I've been searching all the support pages for asking one question:
I have a Line 6 Flerxtone III XL (Serial-Nr.: 21F3X2P5833000147) and I'd like to know if I can disconnect the internal speakers and the cable from the board, so that I only use external speakers. Will I harm my Flextone, if I do so?
I thank you for all answers!
Joe
I've been running that way for a year - see my post below (Flex III head conversion) for more information. What external cab(s) are you using?
Thank you for your reply!
I am using a Marshall 1960A 4x12 Cabinet with 8 ohms impedance (stereo) and 16 ohms impedance (mono) opportunity.
How do I do to skip the cab simulator of my flextone? Because I wanna hear the sound of my external cabinet without a simulated one.
You can use the "Cabinet Modeling Bypass" by using the model knob position "Line 6 Clean" for the cabinet.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
