I'm playing at a gig and have to use there spider valve 112 MKI and need my own sounds. So i was wondering if i can use my fbv shortboard MKII to load up the sounds i use on my Spider IV 120?
You can certainly use the MKII FBV to control the SVMK1...But an FBV is just a controller and nothing more...You will have to create the patches on the MK1...The MK1 is a fast tweaker compare to a MK2 or S4...All the brains is in the amps...![]()
just want to confirm something before i buy the shortboard mk2.......Does the BANK UP and BANK DOWN buttons on the footboard actually let you select the bank on the first generation spider valve 112??? I really love the amp and want to be able to cycle through my presets with the footswitch.
I have the FBV express and it does not allow for bank selection.
Thanks everyone...
I used this setup not to long ago, everything works fine, it banks up and down, only thing is, is that there a 2 foot switches at the top that arent on the mk1 short board, one will work as a noise gate, the other just remains inactive
Yes, there are 9 User banks on the MK1 you can access with shortboard and bank buttons do what you think they do...36 patches total...
