line 6 m13 screen unreadable

hi,i recentley updated my m13 to the newest software version,couple of days later the screen in all four banks became unreadable like distorted pixels,and especially while in tuner mode the whole thing went black...the thing is it only happens after a bout a half an hour while its on....why is this and is it fixable?maybe a factory reset?

    This has happened to me in the past.   You'd be surprised what crummy power can do to electronics.  Try the unit in another power outlet (on a different wall) and see if it happens again.  If it does, take it to a friends house, and try it there.

     

    It could be that the power is extremely dirty, or not enough voltage is being supplied.  If you can reproduce the problem in another location (friends house), I would have the unit serviced.

     

    Its not the firmware upgrade, because I just upgraded mine a few days ago, too.  I don't have any issues.
