How add another pedal to POD 500?

I have the HD 500 POD and I wanted to add my morely to my POD 500 in the Pedal 2 and the pedal has a in and out and i just put in "in" and nothing is connected out. I would like to have the Wah not affect my tone or anything but use it ofc for the sound but not tone. How can I do this or would it have to connect to my guitar~~>Tuner~~->Wah--->line 6 pod?

Some of my patches are maxed so I cant add wah

You cannot add a wah to Pedal 2. You can add a wah before the Guitar In, though it might cause the input to overload, in which case the pad switch can be of help.

Pedal 2 is for an additional expression controller. It expects to see a variable resisitance from 0 ohms (short) to 10k ohms.

  Is it that the it would cause any problem to the POD HD500 or would it affect the tone"?
  cause i have the Cry Baby DB01 which i use in the 'Guitar in' on the Pod HD 500

    If you're able to use it without any unwanted distortion, then you're good to go.
    
    I'm definitely not intending to imply that it will harm your POD.
