Hey guys ,Just got My line 6 pocket pod....I connected the POD into my amp (Ibanez gta10 combo)and when i have effects such as delay reverb and chorus,I have this buzzing noise from my amp.The tone is kinda muddy. But when i connect it to the my speaker system I have no problems. Do i have to change settings on my amp?..I have problems mostly with the distorted metal tones.Should I put the amp on the clean setting...Or is there any other solution to it?Please, people, please i beg,do help me out here.
Cheers,
Arpith.
Yes, we always recommend that if you're going to run the output of an amp modelling device such as the Pocket POD into a real guitar amp that you set the guitar amp as "clean" as possible with no effects.
The output of the POD was intended to go into a mixing console/PA. If you have your real guitar amp set for high gain, you'll essentially be taking a modelled guitar amp signal and then feed into another guitar amp; if set with higher gain the noise floor will definitely go up and really amplify any other sounds/noise artifacts moreso.
