XDR1 and XDT1 will not link. XDT1 shows red LED for battery life and blue LED for channel - all normal. XDR1 scans for RF signal continuously. I cannot tell if the XDT1 is not transmitting or the XDR1 is not receiving. They seem to function as described in the manual but simply don't connect to each other.
Try this: power off the XDR1 receiver first.
Press and hold the Up and Down arrow buttons on the panel of your receiver and keep them held down. Power up the receiver while continuing to hold the Up/Down buttons for another 5-8 seconds.
Now, power on the XDT1 transmitter. Set both devices to the same channel. Are they handshaking/connecting now?
These models do not have up and down arrow keys. I am told by Line 6 tech support that it is a hardware failure and they must be repaired or replaced.
Perry probably confused your model with the rackmount model, which does hav ethe up/down arrows. Your scenario was correctly diagnosed later as a hardware failure.
