hi all
is it possible to plug my guitar into the POD HD500. send the output to the input of my Badcat tonecat. So i switch off all amp simulation - as im using the badcat for my main tone. The badcat also has a FX send and return after the overdrive section. so im wondering if it is possible to use that too.
This is so in my chain of FX i can have the screamer and things i want pre overdrive - then send it to the amp, then use the FX send and return from the amp back into the POD to do things like delays and chorus etc etc, that should be after the distortion
Is this possible?

Hi
Yes it should be possible. Lots of users do what you're describing with different amps. The method is commonly known as the Four Cable Method or 4CM. If you take a look through this forum and in the Documents section you will find lots of information on 4CM as you will too if you Google the phrase.

Hey Jonhollis,
I would suggest that you use the 4 cable method to to achive this sort of flexiable setup, a video tutorial on how to setup the 4 cable method is available at the link below:

There is also a very helpful document that talks about different setups available using the 4 cable method at the link below:
