No the HD500 won't work in that way with a MIDI Mobilizer.

The POD HD500 will accept Program Changes and Bank Changes at this time via a 3rd party MIDI controller however, the POD will NOT react to MIDI CC's sent from a MIDI controller. You can also use an HD500 as a MIDI controller (see video at http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-2126). All of its data is transferred via USB with the POD HD500 Edit program.
