Tone Direct Monitoring?

I have the UX-2 and am experiencing a significant amount of latency when listening back to a recorded track and trying to layer another track over it.  I am using the UX-2 as my primary sound card, recording with Ableton Live Lite 8.0 and have adjusted buffers for minimum latency.  I use headphones on the UX-2 to monitor if recording with a mic or use my speakers to monitor if recording with a line in. my It is almost impossible to record with this setup and I am also having to manually adjust all recorded audio tracks after the fact so they are in synch.  I must be doing something wrong!  Thanks in advance.

Please take a look at our FAQ on optimizing your computer: http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-4201. Let us know if your latency improves after making your adjustments.
