I just updated to 1.4, so now the input default is global, which makes sense for most people, mainly because without global we would have to reassign every preset input setup to "guitarvariax" to keep from overloading the input,  But what I want to set up is guitar in one input and lap steel in the other input, but not all the time, at a lot of gigs I don't have room to set up the lap steel stand and only play standard guitar, which needs "guitarvariax" to keep from overloading input. Also I want the option of running my electric guitar's piezo pickup separately into the other input, which obviously would require an extra A/B box. I am running a KoT overdrive in the FX loop so I could not come in the return jack with the piezo. Anybody got any suggestions on the best way to configure?
