Pod HD500 delay and tap tempo

On the pod hd 500 how do you set up the tap tempo to control the speed of delays and other parameters?

Under the speed or time parameter you will see note division symbols at the beginning (half, quarter, dotted-eighth, etc.).

Gregr has supplied you with the settings that enable the tap tempo for your patch.

The delays are all expressed either in mS (thousandths of a second) or in note divisions (as per gregr).  If you select mS then the tap switch does not do anything.  If you select note divisions then the tap switch becomes active.

The simplest is the standard quarter notequarter_note_bw.jpg

Choose a delay (say digital) and set it to quarter notes.  Now tap the tap switch in time to the music your are playing  (4 beats to the bar).   Your echo should now follow the beat.

Now try selecting another note division (for example eighth note)eighth_note_bw.jpg

and again tap four beats to the bar You will hear your echo change accordingly (for example with eighth note there will now be twice as many repeats for as beats).

        Make sense?
