DAW integration.

Is there any way of integrating the pod hd into a DAW, in a similar fashion to the virus TI synth, as an insert effect? I know you can record clean guitar from it and i can feed an output to the guitar jack in the front but would be quite nice to have the option of feeding guitar into my own preamps.
Also on a different note, the guitar input on the pod HD seems to interact with a standard wah pedal producing a constant resonance, is this normal? doesn't really matter if i'm using a high gain amp or different input impedance settings it still whistles.
On the first:
I think that the Virus can be configured as a 'VST' plugin, which makes it very flexible and usable as an insert effect. The HD does not have this functionality. Someone on the board may have a clever routing trick but that easy 'drop it in anywhere' VST functionaility is not available.
On the second:
That really does not sound right.. I just did a search and couldn't quickly spot anyone else with the problem either. Start off by changing the Wah battery and getting some other cables to check with. If that does not help, you could try hooking the Wah into the FX Loop on the HD and placing it first in the effects chain. See what that does for you.
Shame about that, I'll put on an output and input to my sound card.
The wah's batteries are brand new and the cables are fairly decent, I've got the HD desktop unit so there's no FX loop. I'll buffer the pod input with my sound card just incase that helps aswell. Thanks for the help
