EX-1 Expression Pedal

First of all, I want to say I love Line 6 products. I'm impressed with the improvements and growth I've witnessed in there product lines over time, so please accept this as constructive criticism. The EX-1 product needs to be upgraded both in quality and value. It doesn't fit the value reputation of other Line 6 products and beingIt a support product for many of your leading products, it leaves your end users with no good solution. The product could be upgraded to include metal moving parts to make it more viable. If you look at almost any retailer selling the EX-1 you will find complaints everywhere about it being completely plastic and overpriced for it's quality. One example of a similar priced expression pedal is the Yamaha FC-7 which is not compatible, but has metal, rubber and plastic components and is much more durable with a street price nearly equivalent with the EX-1. You may have to cut your margin on the product, but it will add a much more favorable light on the main products it supports. The Mission Engineering Product that you introduced as an alternative is overkill for most people as the street price is $129 or more. I'm hoping you already have something on the drawing board, but if not please consider it quickly.
Just wanted to update ya guys who love the feel and response of an EB. While the 25k can work it still has an un-uniformed audio taper and because of it being 25k the last quarter of your sweep doesn't even do anything. Our line uses our custom designed 10k pots and while they work perfectly with Line 6, with a flip of the mode toggle you can use them in voltage control mode so it will be compatible with multiple other pedals.
