Black Boxes in Display PLEASE HELP!!!

I havw a Spider 3, 75 watt amp. When I turn it on, no other lights come on, just some black boxes in the display. Does anyone know what the problem is?

my amp has 8 black boxes everytime i turn it on but i found out that it was a shorted footpedal inlet (those thin metal strips are shorted so i fixed it with a knife)..now its running again..hope it helps and sorry for my english...:)
