I'm looking at a couple of Ampeg bass amps, Micro VR and Micro CL. I would like to use the HD500 and bypass the preamp, but there's line in or power amp in. They do both have FX send and return, so I thought I could connect the HD500 to the FX return. Will that work well? I assume it would be guitar level raather than line level?
