Just wondering is there any way to get a stereo image in via keyboard while using the backing tracks.
Lets say in the first instance I layer a bass pattern for a song then save that.
Can I get a stereo in via the Cd in and layer a keyboard/synt track over that?
Im looking basicly at the spider jam as a solution for both bass and keyboard amp but it would be great if I could use the featuers with my keyboard as well as bass guitar.
Would an alternative to put one track in via the guitar in and one via the aux in (left and right channels from keyboard/synth).
Thanks for the help so far
.
Basicly you would record your bass track through the AUX input then unplug your bass and plug in your keyboard and record your keyboard track through the AUX input.
Problem is that the AUX input is mono only im trying to see if there is a way to get a stereo image into the amp/speaker.
So the two ways of doing this possibly is plug one (say left) in the guitar one in the aux (say right) at the same time if this works then can I then record those two over the patterns then output later to my laptop.
Or if you can record the cd input which is a stereo input I can put 2x 1/4 inch to 1/6 inch (think thats the right side) via splitter to get the same result this is what im asking about.
Not sure about the CD input. However if you hold down the record select button you are able to mix between the AUX/MIC, microphone/XLR and Guitar input.
Cool this is an effictive stereo image however would love to know if you can use the cd at the same time as backing track as the cd in is a true stereo image!
Stay in the mix and in the know.
