LD400 - MP3 Input Jack doesn´t work

Hello,

 

I am new to the LowDown Amps and I am wondering if this is an issue or by design.

 

If I plug a MP3 player into the jack and turn on the AMP, it plays thru the speaker for a second or two and then goes silent...

However the input jack source always plays thru the Headphone jack.

 

Shouldn't an MP3 play thru the main speaker?

 

This problem is well known, but I didn´t hear any solution in this forum.

    I may be wrong but it sounds like a classic case of the "missing guitar lead"!

     

    If you want to play something through the MP3/CD socket you must have a guitar lead (or headphone adaptor) plugged into either the Passive or the Active input socket.

     

    My apologies if you have already done this.
