How to use ART Tube MP With Ux1?

I need to use the art tube mp as the phantom power and the ux1 as the interface/playback device. where do the cables need to go in order to get sound? i understand i need gearbox up but nothing is coming thru gearbox and i got the mic line selected. someone help me out asap please.

    you have the microphone into the MP, then the MP output into the MIC 1, as I understand it.

     

    the volume on the MP and the volume on MIc 1/Ux1...then the selection in GEARBOX of MIC 1 should have the sound into your pc.

     

    have you checked you Windows mixer? make sure nothings disabled that should be ON.

     

    Also ensure the monitoring volume is up if you using speakers or headphone volume is up if you use headphones.

     

    The Windows Mixer, is available through right clicking on your Sound icon , (Im assuming your suing Wndows).

     

    Check the Advanced also and make sure your pc is using the UX1 for Playback and Recording. etc..etc..

     

    Does it work without the MP?

    If everything works without the MP, your problem is the MP...

     

    Try a dynamic mic, get rid of the MP is an option, as you know.

     

    I've found the UX1 software vocal gear is better than anything I could afford and without the hassle of cables and other things that cause buzzes.

     

    Professional Dynamic mics are Shure SM-7, Seinheiser 421 types for a couple. Great stuff....
