Uber Metal shuting down

Hi, my Uber Metal was working nice, then one day , while using it the light got red red red and it shut down

i tried using the battery but nothing, when connected to the amp it sends some kind of noise like turning on and

off ( tum tum tum tum), would it be the module or the body that got broken? is this common or any solutions for this??

    Hard to say.  Have you tried reseating the module in the dock? 

     

    If reseating doesn't work, then something is broken (electronics don't last forever.)

     

    Is there a music store nearby where you can try your module with one of their docks, or vice-versa?

     

    I don't use the Uber Metal, but I do use Echo Park.  I went out and purchased a spare on the used market so that I can narrow down problems like this, as well as have a spare in a pinch.

      how can i reset the module in the dock?

      my friend has an Uber Metal too, he came home to play with me using the same pedal supply i did, when i saw it's led got red too, hopefully i unplugged the supply in time and it got working again, i havent tested it yet but

      will ask my friend to use his dock and module for it as soon as i can

        What power supply are you using?

         

        Use a hex wrench to remove the set screw and pop the module out.  After that make sure the contacts are clean and put it back.  You also might want to try your friends module in your dock, and vice versa to narrow down where the problem is.

          i was using an universal power supply, with a lot of jacks and voltages to select, i didnt knew that is was so bad,

          oh and i tested it wtih my friend's Uber, it's my dock what got broken, the module is still in one piece(working)

          now i'm trying to arrange some solutions for the dock .
