I'm trying to get a clean start sound like the guitarist plays in this video.

I've gone through all the 80s presets (and the rest) but I cant find anything close.
Is there anything in the song presets, artist presets, or custom tone sounds that can enable me to get this sound.
I'll be playing a Yamaha Pacifica Strat copy.
thanks,
J
I'm not that familiar with S IV-75 or it's presets. If I were to build that from scratch, I would go with Clean or Twang Green, with drive settings pretty low. Start with bass, mid, treb & pres at 12:00 and adjust until it sounds good. You want absolutely no breakup. Perhaps the slightest touch of compression and reverb. Try starting your strat in pickup position 3. You'll have to mess with all of these parameters until you nail what you're looking for.
There are other intangibles, such as strings, and the player's touch. Good luck.
I agree with BigChas, you are not going to get a clean Strat sound with any of the presets. Go to manual mode, I'd start with the Twang Green, if you don't have any luck, try the Class A Red.
Note that your Yammie pickups may not have the same tones as a Fender Strat.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
