Using Acoustic Guitar with the JM4

I looked everywhere for the answer to this, sorry, I couldn't find it.

I'm playing a Taylor 414ce acoustic guitar. Would it be better to use the mic input on the JM4, or is there a Amp Setting that will work with an acoustic guitar?

The Taylor has XLR output straight from the guitar, but also will use the 1/4" TR cable.

 

If using the Mic input, am I able to get reverb and possibly chorus or delay in the effects train?

    Which input sounds best to you?  The answer is as simple as that. 

     

    I was advised to use the Aux input for my acoustics because the Guitar input was going to sound like S**t.  I originally did plug into the Aux and it was okay, but then I plugged into the Guitar input and it was also okay. 

    One of my acoustic guitars also has the direct XLR out, but I haven't bothered to try it as an input to the JM4.  Biggest reason for not trying the XLR is that I don't need to- the other two inputs get the job done sufficiently.  Second reason is I use the mic input for a mic.
