How I can record the metronome from gearbox to a track in Sony Acid Music Studio? It records my guitar but not the metronome. thanx, all.
you can't... unless you're interface has a "what u hear" option...
best to find and enable the metronome within acid if there is one... and if not i'd look for a vst or something.
Im pretty sure u have to choose an input and closest I can get is Gearbox but Acid isnt heairng the metronome going. Ive been looking at drum machines and virtual drummers and I have loops I bought from Sony but with the loops, to build a drum section, itd be with single drum strike and load them 1 by 1 to get the exact sound I want so Im leaning towards the "virtual drums" software to go along with my Line 6 Gearbox. thanx for the help and Im open for any info on the virtual drummer thing, as well.
you can use this: http://www.hydrogen-music.org/hcms/
freeware,,,
you can export either midi or audio and usually you can just grab the side of the wavform and drag in most recording software to loop....
in any case... its a nice little program.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
