Will deleting an unidentified driver from the USB device manager cause any damage to the POD HD500 while it's plugged?

I was plugging in the hd500 for the first time in my laptop and it said it didn't install successfully, so I went to the control panel and went to the USB devices and uninstalled that unsuccessful device while the hd500 was still plugged in, I was worried that I may have damaged my hd500's system or by doing so may have done some possible damage. Help! I'm worried.

I have managed to do the procedures with the drivers, however, I'm just worried that I damaged the hd500 by uninstalling the unsuccessful device from the device manger while the pod was still plugged.
