Pod X3 Live and midi

Hi All,

 

Just wondering if it is possible to use the Pod X3 Live to capture midi info from my Roland drum module to record into my computer DAW?  So does the midi info transfer via the USB cable to the computer?  When I check the DAW's midi channel for recording I can see the Pod X3 Live midi channels (omni) 1 - 16 but I dont get any data when I hit record.
