Please HELP! Studio Projects B1 microphone problems with POD X3 Live

I had this set up a while ago, where I would run a Studio Projects B1 microphone into a Behringer PS400 preamp connected to my PODX3 Live. It worked fine. Recently, I took the microphone out of storage to hook it up again and I'm not getting nada - at most maybe a crackle if I poke the microphone but it is definitely not coming through. The XLR connections are all secure. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to pinpoint the problem? Could it be the mic or tte preamp (both of which were kept in fine condition), or possibly the XLR cables? Should I set the trim on the X3 to a certain dial? It won't output any sound on any of the POD's voice presets, but as soon as I roll it back over to a guitar preset with my Les Paul already plugged in, I'm jamming. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks!
I am not convinced this is the answer in your case (as you are getting sound with a guitar) but check the "amp / line" out level switch on the X3 L (it is near the top of the unit just above the Master volume and Tone volume controls. Make sure that it isn't in the middle - if it is in the middle it acts as a mute switch!
Worth a try.
Good luck!
I think the problem turned out to be that I had the volume pedal depressed all the way down (forgot that was part of the microphone level). Thanks for the help!
