Noise

Hi everyone,

I just got a POD X3 that I want to plug into my Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue. Whenever I plug my POD in the amp I get quite a good level of noise that I don't get when I plug my guitar straight into the amp. The noise persists as long as the POD is on. I tried to select the combo output but the noise is still there.

Are there any known fixes for this issue?

Thanks a lot

    Re: Noise

Sometimes the usb connection can introduce noise. Does the noise disappear when the X3 is disconnected from your computer?

Also, make sure the X3 Master Volume is at a high level - this provides the best signal-to-noise ratio in the output.

Is there a lot of noise even if you have no guitar cable plugged into the input the POD?

Are you using hi-gain patches? This will usually introduce noise. If so try putting a noise gate.
