When Will We Get Working Windows 8 Drivers?

A quick search revealed that no-one has had much more success than me with getting their Line 6 hardware working with Windows 8, hence the question in the subject. Surely it can't be too much work, as every other thing I own works fine in Win8. I can use ASIO4all but I'd prefer to get my KB37 working.
Nothing? No plans to support Windows 8 at all? Maybe it is time to buy another audio inteface if Line 6 aren't going to bother keeping up?
Checking in the downloads section, driver version 4.2.5.4 says it supports WIndows 8. I cannot vouch for how well it does, or doesn't work though on KB37. Give it a try ![]()
I've gotten my UX-2 working on Windows 8 with those drivers. I've had some minor drop outs, but I haven't had time to troubleshoot whether it's the Line 6 drivers, my guitar cable, or the USB drivers. I have a brand new PC, and I haven't done any USB tweaking yet.
Thanks. I didn't realise you can download drivers separately and, as Pod Farm doesn't support KB37 properly, I've been mostly looking at GearBox, which definitely does not mention Win8. Now I should be able to kludge something together that will give me all the functionality I need. Fingers crossed!
GearBox uses the same drivers as POD Farm
I just tried it out with my UX-2 and it's working fine. ASIO recording perfectly in Reaper as well.
One hint: Go into Windows advanced power settings and disable "USB selective suspend" I was getting some drop outs until I did that.
I wish Line6 releases a new driver that works in Win8. Version 4.2.5.4 worked for a while, and now after crashing once it is "blocked" by Win8 as not supported. Various tricks as disable signature checks for drivers do not work anymore (I think it worked the first time, or randomly after that but just once).
Is there any hope?
