Line6 Link with 2 HD Pros

Hi,
Bit of an odd question - I searched but found nothing. Can I connect two HD Pro's together in a daisy chain and have the sound from both come out of the final one in the chain?
So it would go [HD PRO] ---l6 link---> [HD PRO] ==stereo out==> [AMP]
Ideally, I want the stereo sound from two independent HD pro's to come out of one amp and I don't have a mixer. I'm trying to sort out a live setup for two guitarists and don't want to add any more equipment
Has anyone done anything like this?
Cheers,
Tom
L6 Link doesn't offer any communication - data or audio - from one POD to another.
I'm confused as to what exactly you mean by having the audio from both PODs going into one amp. Is it a stereo amp? What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
That's fine, it just wasn't 100% clear from the http://uk.line6.com/l6link/ page. I was hoping I could send audio over L6 Link from one HD to another and then use the combined signal for an amp input - so the L6 link audio would be merged in with the audio from the last unit in the chain. I didn't want to send any control parameters or anything like that, just audio.
I guess you achieve the same with the fx loop
Thanks for your reply
Tom
Use the digital audio connections - unlike the HD500 which only has out the HDPRO can accept digital audio inputs so you can daisy chain two HDPRO or HD500 and HDPRO without leaving the digital domain. Use MIDI to get the controls linked so that both units change patches at the same time.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
