I have found a lot of generic info but it is really difficult to find specific answers here, almost like used car double talk.  I know the shortboard can be used as a midi controller and I am almost there with my recording program (music creator 6) but I can't get it to work correctly. I  have programmed my board using the line 6 software and my program recognizes the board but that is as far as I can get.  I did purchase an expression pedal and have it working correctly with my spider iv amp but I want to use the shortboard for all that is able to accomplish.  HOW DO I FIND SPECIFIC INFO?  I know there can't be a secret code to this or some special handshake (I really hope not).

Any line by line instructions would be incredibly helpful.
