Why would the preset switch start flashing?

New POD HD300 owner here

 

I am playing along and I hit the switch to go to preset "D" and it starts FLASHING!!

What the hell is this?

 

Can't have that when playing live.

I am NOT trying to copy a tone from one location to another

I just want to go to one bank and go from A,B,C or D during the song.

Without any BS

 

Is this doable?
