I purchased a used Guitarport XT from eBay and now am trying to acheive a similar tone in Gearbox to what you hear in these links.

The Less Than Jake one is especially tricky with that opening guitar riff. I set the amp in Gearbox to Line 6 Insane and turned the drive down and the bass up and seemed to get closer to the song's sound, but it's just not the same. Forgive my ignorance please, I'm pretty new at this.

I've tried Googling what gear they use and didn't find much information on that. Anyone have an idea or two that might help???
