How to "fix" volume jumps between presets?

I have a Spider Valve MKII amp.  I know it's in here somewhere but could somebody please tell me what I need to do in order to stop the volume from blaring when I switch from one preset to another?  I know it's old news but if somebody could show me a link or give me a quick rundown I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Search is your friend x220.  Quite a few posts on setting the volume level between channels.  You need to use the channel volume to even the levels between channels/patches, then store with that setting.  On the MkII, some have encountered popping if the channel volume is too low.  If you set the channel volume too high, the master volume becomes very touchy (nothing to very loud in just a touch of adjustment). You should read thru the forum to pick up the nuances from the other posts.
