Hej,
sometimes I need an accoustic guitar and so I plugged it into my Spider4 and, oh wonder, there is a bunch of feedback. I coud not really get rid of it even when I turned around. MyGuitar is an Ovation with piezo-pickup.
Does anybody have an idea how I could get a good sound out of my spider witz my Ovation??
Thanx,
Thomas
Have to tell you that it is a factor of your guitar. I use a Fender CD140SCE and can stand right in front of my my Spider IV 75 and not get feed back at practice room volume levels. If I turn around and face the amp, I get feedback of course.
There are feedback-preventing soundhole inserts, you may want to try one of those.
OK, I think I have to try these inserts.
By the way, are there any interesting soundsetting for Accoustic Guitars available?
Clean Green as your start setting (manual), then add some drive/gain for volume, adjust tone as needed based on your guitar. I use the same settings for an old Epiphone acoustic with a sound-hole mounted Markley pickup and have no issues with that either.
Stay in the mix and in the know.
