How to update Variax to advertised v1.9 firmware

The Line6 website says

Free v1.9 Update for James Tyler Variax

This free release offers enhanced palm muting for all guitars and introduces five new high-gain models exclusively for JTV-89

I have upgrade my L6 Monkey and it recognizes my JTV89 via USB to the HD500 but the installed AND newest releases still show in Monkey as:

Flash Memory 1.82.

Line 6 Monkey 1.62

Variax Workbench 1.75

The website is of little help with links that lead nowhere but tell me to download Monkey 1.62 which than tells me it's already there!

Arghh! Please help!

download the file from here: http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=5418
in monkey select the variax flash memory, then select flash from file, and browse to the downloaded file.

  Ok, that sort of worked. I did as you said using and got a license agreement from Line 6, then clicked OK, and now I get this..
  
  Then restarted my POD500 (had been using WorkBench) and tried again like you said, now everything is good, looks like the flash memory is updating properly to v1.9!!!.
